After a decade in non-profit management and U.S. refugee resettlement, Rebecca Schaeffer switched gears to pursue her longstanding passion for organizing. As a professional organizer, Rebecca is delighted to have found her calling: in the words of Frederick Buechner, “the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” And because life is too short for just one career, she continues to work part-time as an Immigration Counselor for the CWS Refugee and Immigration Program and is the volunteer Director of Operations for non-profit Space for Humanity.
Rebecca is passionate about helping people simplify their lifestyle to better achieve their goals. She gets the most satisfaction (in life and in organizing!) by bringing beauty, order, and meaning to any space. Rebecca is currently Director of Professional Development for the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, North Carolina Chapter, and a member of NAPO. She holds a BA in International Relations from Beloit College in Wisconsin and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
