After a decade in non-profit management and U.S. refugee resettlement, Rebecca Schaeffer switched gears to pursue her longstanding passion for organizing. As a professional organizer, Rebecca is delighted to have found her calling: in the words of Frederick Buechner, “the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” And because life is too short for just one career, she continues to support the CWS Refugee and Immigration Program as an Immigration Counselor and volunteers as Treasurer for the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO).
Rebecca is passionate about helping people simplify their lifestyle to better achieve their goals. She gets the most satisfaction (in life and in organizing!) by bringing beauty, order, and meaning to any space. Rebecca holds a BA in International Relations from Beloit College in Wisconsin and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
